    The use of Synthetic grass em professional fields grows constantly. To guarantee the quality of games on this type of surface, the FIFA developed a method for certifying football pitches with synthetic grass called “FIFA QUALITY CONCEPT”, started in 2001.

    Tests – abrasiveness, resistance, ball rolling speed, bounce angle and height – carried out on both natural and synthetic grass are used as a parameter to define the quality of the pitches.     A Sports link is the only Latin American company that manufactures synthetic lawns certified by SGS United Kingdom Ltd – Sistems & Services Certification – since 2008 and recertified in accordance with the requirements of the Standard ISO 9001. – Quality Management System Certification.

    ISO 9001 certification is a standardization that guarantees requirements for Quality Management processes and allows the company to prove the quality of its products.

    After achieving certification, every three years companies are subject to audits to guarantee and ensure Quality Management processes and maintain the seal up to date. ISO 9001..

    Recertification reflects the concern for continuous improvement and signifies the complete maturity of the quality management system, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes that are part of the industry's routine.

    The SMETA methodology uses the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Code and local laws as a measurement tool. It consists of four modules: Commercial Ethics, Health and Safety, Environment and Laboratory Standards. 

     

    This certification is required by numerous companies around the world, especially in the United States and also by football's highest governing body, FIFA.

     

    The company was thoroughly audited regarding impacts on the environment, as well as ensuring ethical commercial agreements, work and production processes, risk management, contributing to the community and society in general.
